About this event
Reading with Floodplain Books: Nina de Gramont and Malena Mörling Wednesday, November 11 | 7 PM Reception Hall Free | Registration required Join CAM and Floodplain Books for an evening of poetry, prose, and conversation with two of Wilmington’s acclaimed writers, Nina de Gramont and Malena Mörling, as we celebrate the release of their newest books, Peregrine Hill and Lumina Station. From the intrigue of Gilded Age New York to the beauty found in everyday moments, these two authors invite readers to explore the complexities of human experience through fiction and poetry. Following her international bestseller The Christie Affair, de Gramont returns with Peregrine Hill, a novel set in Gilded Age New York that follows a desperate mother and headstrong daughter navigating a society shaped by men’s appetites and women’s silence.
In Lumina Station, Mörling explores impermanence, perception, and the inexplicable beauty of being. Her poetry captures fleeting moments with cinematic precision, inviting readers to discover wonder in the ordinary. Celebrate the power of storytelling and the literary talent of our community during this special evening at CAM.
